Adrienne Garrison
Adrienne took her first yoga class in 2008 and fell in love with
the tranquility of the mind-body connection. A country girl at heart,
she gravitates to yoga as a way to find a release from city stresses.
She completed teacher training in 2011 at Corepower Yoga in Chicago
as a way to deepen her knowledge of the poses and share her zeal
for the benefits of yoga. Her teaching emphasizes healthy alignment
both on and off the mat. She is passionate about giving her students
an individualized experience in her classes, while still maintaining
an overall atmosphere of community. It is her goal to help her students
grow in small ways each time they come to the mat. When not in the
studio, you might find her in the classroom teaching 3rd grade students
or taking long walks with her dog through Chicago’s lovely
parks.

Nicole
Orr
Nicole Orr believes we are all constantly evolving beings, and that
yoga is a perfect example of how we can transform our bodies and
minds through focus and dedication. Yoga entered Nicole's life unexpectedly.
Following an accident in which she broke her pelvis, in 2003, Nicole
was restricted from high impact exercise. It wasn't long before
Nicole was hooked on yoga- Almost immediately Nicole felt a difference.
She was amazed at her improved strength, focus and physical and
mental balance. She believes the principles and practice of yoga
help us reach balance with ourselves and the universe in which we
exist. As a student of yoga, Nicole imagined how as a teacher she
could help her students gain strength, agility and balance and could
also help them see how fun and inspiring yoga can be. With the addition
of Yoga Sculpt to her studies, Nicole has been able to find more
of a balance between her yoga practice and the added strength training
of sculpting. In Yoga Sculpt, strength is the focus. The physical
strength and muscle tone gained during the practice of sculpt builds
confidence in the abilities of the body, and also in the abilities
of the mind. Nicole’s sculpting practice and knowledge has
allowed her to deepen her mind/body connection, and teach others
the importance of this connection, not only within their own practice,
but in everyday life.
Dana Robert
Dana Robert opened the Yoga Boutique in February 2007 as the culmination
of a life-long interest in fitness. She minored in Dance at the
University of Iowa, received a Masters in Social Work from the University
of Illinois and has been teaching dance and fitness since graduation.
Concurrently she took a job as a bond trader. Everything in her
life soon became intense, from her career as a trader at the Chicago
Board of Trade, to her passion in extreme sports such as Ironman,
marathons, triathlons and boxing. It was a bittersweet event that
guided Dana towards yoga. After severely injuring both shoulders
from boxing Dana turned to yoga for physical therapy. The doctors
thought that her fitness days were going to be minimal and a double
shoulder surgery was to be in her future. She took her future into
her own hands and used Yoga as a means of physical therapy. After
she learned to relax and slow down her mind and body on the mat
she took her learning off the mat. She received her Yoga Alliance
certification from Frog Lotus Yoga Studio in Massachusetts. Soon
after this she quit her job as a Trader, turned in the keys to her
“Beamer” and decided to find the true pursuit of happiness…yoga!
Danielle Robinson
Danielle Robinson is a vinyasa yoga, Pilates, and cardio dance teacher
who just recently moved to Chicago from Italy. She started practicing
yoga while pursuing her degree in Psychology back in 2002. Soon
after graduation and her jobs in the real world both in the States
and abroad, she felt inspired by fellow yogis and her own quest
for physical and mental challenges to pursue teaching as a career.
She studied under yogis in Florida, Italy, and New York City and
now she hopes to parlay her training and teaching style into a fun
and rewarding career teaching in the great city of Chicago. She's
excited to be in the city, to meet new people, and to have the opportunity
to teach at Yoga Boutique.

Anna Schabold
Studying Forrest Yoga since 2005, Anna is a graduate of the Forrest
Yoga Teacher Training Foundation Course with Ana Forrest, fulfilling
her 200-hour RYT certification in April 2009. She completed the
Forrest Yoga Advanced Teacher Training in September 2010. Her practice
unlocked the strength and courage to live in a way that reflects
and expresses that which she finds true and meaningful. It brings
her great joy to share these tools with others so that they may
also find their authentic selves and break free of facades. She
emphasizes the benefits that the sanctuary of the yoga mat offers
from the demands of hectic daily life. Drawing from the strength
she discovered in herself through her practice, Anna left her corporate
position in June 2008, and embarked on a journey of self-discovery.
Realizing that her passion lay in sharing yoga with others, she
decided to answer her calling to teach and became certified in April
2009. Compassionately holding safe space for joyful exploration,
Anna empathically guides her students with a supportive voice, strong
breath, and healing touch. She desires to lead others to breathe
deeply with mindfulness, connecting to their bodies and creating
awareness, and discover the gifts of yoga: quieting the mind, strengthening
the body, and nourishing the spirit. Her training off the mat includes
a B.A. in International Studies from Loyola University Chicago,
a Green Belt in the Degerberg Academy of Martial Arts International
Blend System, and is studying Burmese Bando Yoga, comprised of Dhanda,
Longi, & Letha Yoga.

cycling, core strengthening, dance and many other classes around
Chicago.
Sophia Treyger
Sophia Treyger’s first yoga class
was in New Jersey in 2000. She did not know that the wheel of Dharma
would begin turning back then and lead her to her true calling:
teaching. The first class was with an Iyengar teacher (although
she did not know that at the time) and she has been hooked on alignment-based
asana since then. After many years of searching, she stumbled upon
Moksha and began her formal training as a teacher in September 2010.
Her clients at work inspired her the most to study formally. At
Mount Sinai Hospital, she began teaching asana, pranayama, and meditation
- not knowing what she was doing - to mentally ill clients over
two years ago and realized that formal training would benefit her
clients (mainly to assure that she wouldn't cripple anyone). Through
her journey in asana, she became enamored Yoga philosophy and now
studies the Bhagavad Gita and Yoga Sutras with teachers at Yog Sadhan
Ashram. She continues to learn, refine, and discover her Dharma
through an apprenticeship with Gabriel Halpern, a master Iyengar
teacher.
Sarah
Will
Sarah Will has a background in dance (ballet, aerial, modern, butoh,
etc...) Although she no longer performs she takes several workshops
throughout the year and is on the Board of Directors for Breakbone
Dance Company. Sarah wandered into her first yoga class while she
was still in college and hated it. Several years later, after sustaining
mulitple repetitive use and traumatic injuries, she decided to give
yoga another try. This time she wandered into an ashtanga class
and loved it! She has been hooked ever since. Sarah received her
first teacher training certification in 2006, and has been building
on it for the past three and a half years. She is now a very well
rounded teacher with primary focuses on Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Power
Vinyasa, Yin, and most recently, Taoist Flow. You may also notice
at times she may add Feldenkrais method and anatomy training into
her class. In Sarah’s free time she operates a German Shepherd
Rescue (CFWGSDR), as well as provides transportation for other rescue
organizations.
