Yoga:

Beginner Yoga
Beginner yoga is an excellent way for those who are intimidated by yoga to start. We will start with basic poses and build from there. Each class will touch upon stretching, strengthening and relaxing both the body and the mind.

Hatha Yoga
Hatha means the union of the Sun and Moon. This yoga practice joins the elements together using the active energy from the sun and the passive energy of the moon. Creating a class that will in compass a workout for the mind, body and spirit.

Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa means breath - synchronized movement. This class is a flowing class using classical yoga poses intricately sequenced. It is focused on building internal heat in order to purify all layers of the body.

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, joints, and even the bones of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice. Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is challenging due to the long duration of the postures, and is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and spine.

Hatha Flow Yoga
Hatha Flow Yoga is a combination of Hatha which means to hold and Vinyasa which means to move. This class is appropriate for all levels and will focus on all three physical aspects: strength, flexibility and will elevate your heart rate.

Power Flow Yoga
A rigourous vinyasa flow class allowing the student the power of personal freedom and choice in making the class their own while exploring their limits physically, mentally and spiritually.

Forrest Yoga
Forrest Yoga is a Hatha-Vinyasa-based system in which founder Ana Forrest has taken the ancient practice of yoga and applied it to the needs of today’s people and the stresses and ailments of modern society. The pillars of Forrest Yoga are breath, strength, integrity and spirit – through intense pose sequencing, taught in a safe learning environment, students are encouraged to find their truth, explore their edges, and go deeper in search of physical and emotional healing.

Yogalates
A combination of pilates and yoga.

Yoga Sculpt
Yoga Sculpt incorporates free weights into a Vinyasa/flowing yoga class. Yoga Sculpt is an intense workout that combines strength training with yoga postures, providing a total body workout that will increase functional strength and build lean muscle mass. This class is designed to be fun, upbeat and has great music.

Vin/Yin Candlelight Yoga
This will be a combination of flowing and movement in the first half. While the second will be a serious of gentle poses to help stretch the body deeply. Each pose will be held between 2 and 5 minutes. We add candles in this class to intensify the relaxation and calming effect of Yin Yoga.

Thai Flow Yoga
Thai Yoga is an ancient and sacred system of healing, with roots in yoga. It combines massage, acupressure, twisting, stretching, energy work, and meditation to create wholeness of body, mind, and spirit in both giver and receiver. This class will combine some of the traditional yoga movements with the healings of partner yoga. Where you will work with another yogi in deeping your practice in a gentle manor.

Family Yoga
Do you wish you could take your children to the beach or the zoo but it is too cold out this winter. Come to family yoga where each week we will travel to a new place in our bodies and minds. Join us for a "picnic" or "skiing down a mountain." You and your family will have a great time while introducing yoga in a fun and creative way.

Pilates:

Beginner Pilates
Beginner Pilates is great way to start your pilates career. We will be taking things a little slower and really work on technique, alignment, and form. Once you master this you can graduate into pilates or take it in accordance for helpful reminders.

Pilates
This is a method of exercise and movement developed by Joseph Pilates which is designed to lengthen, strengthen, stabilize, and tone the whole body. Pilates focuses on creating strength of the abdomen, back, butt and thighs. Pilates improves posture, flexibility, and improving overall well- being.


Other Classes:

Cardio Bar
Cardio Bar is a perfect blend of classic ballet sculpting movements and cardio circuits to help you get in shape and gain strength and flexibility.

Core Connection
Core Connection is a strength based class that incorporates some stretching. It focuses on the core, (belly, back and butt), but also works the arms and legs. Using the core to connect the major muscles in the body through strategic exercises, Core Connection really is a fantastic total body workout.


Kids Classes:

Kid’s Yoga
Kids yoga is a great place for children to find peace and stillness. We use a lot of imagination, partner work and games to keep them focused. Cobra pose in a child's class take on a whole new meaning. Give your child the gift of health in a fun creative environment.

Children’s Ballet
This class is designed for children ages 3-6. It will incorporate the use of various props, ( wands, flowers, dolls) and children's music to bring creativity, gracefulness and joy to the children.


Senior Classes:

Senior Chair Fit
This is a great place to start if you haven't been moving much and need to get your body moving in a safe way. This class will be done majority standing or seated in a chair. We will use light weights for strength training as well as focus on stretching the whole body. We will also teach some breath work and meditation to help relieve stress.

Senior Easy Mat Stretch Class
This class is designed for those who have the ability to sit down on the floor with some ease. Most of the class will be done seated or lying on a mat. We will focus on stretching, breath work and meditation. This class will leave you feeling relaxed and renewed.
